Oahu Collection

Oahu is an island of striking contrasts, where vibrant cityscapes, tropical forests, volcanic coastlines, and open Pacific waters exist within a relatively small landscape. This collection explores those contrasts through photographs made across the island, from the familiar shoreline of Waikiki and the commanding presence of Diamond Head to quieter beaches, rugged coastal formations, and lush inland environments.

The journey moves through Ala Moana and Waikiki, along the dramatic southeastern coast at Spitting Cave and Halona Beach Cove, into the rainforest surrounding Mānoa Falls, and onward to the North Shore and the windward side of the island. Along the way, familiar landmarks such as Diamond Head and Mokoliʻi are seen from different perspectives, revealing how changes in viewpoint, light, weather, and surrounding landscape can transform the character of a place.

Together, the photographs present Oahu as more than a collection of iconic destinations. They reflect the island’s remarkable variety—urban and natural, calm and energetic, familiar and unexpected—and the distinctive sense of place created where mountains, tropical vegetation, volcanic rock, and the Pacific Ocean come together.

Many of these photographs are available as digital downloads through the LTL Photo Art Store.
